Heather Bowden is a Carolina Digital Curation Doctoral Fellow at the School of Information and Library Science in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Research Interests
Examination of barriers to the sustainable management of digital materials.
Development of resources, tools, and systems for the long-term management of digital collections.
Exploration and continued development of measures for adoption of technology and motivation in online social network participation.

Primary teaching interests lie in digital curation.
